Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026
Acceptance
By using JSON Workbench (the "service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
JSON Workbench is a free collection of tools for formatting, comparing, converting, and inspecting JSON. The tools run entirely in your browser. There are no accounts to create, and the service does not store or receive the data you work with.
Provided "as is"
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. While we aim for correct and reliable results, we cannot guarantee them. Always review the output before relying on it, and keep your own copy of anything important. You use the service at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of JSON Workbench are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any loss of data. Because the service is free and processes your data only in your own browser, you are responsible for backing up and verifying your work.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: do not use it for any unlawful purpose, do not attempt to disrupt or attack it, and do not try to use it in a way that could harm the service or other users.
Your content
You keep all rights to the data you paste or load into the tools. We claim no ownership of it, and because it never leaves your browser, we never receive it in the first place.
Intellectual property
The JSON Workbench name, design, and source presentation belong to the project. These terms do not grant you any rights to the project's branding beyond ordinary use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in them limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
